Purpose
Section 2 of Chum Kiu helps with the coordination of our upper and lower body. Once this part of the form is mastered, the student will learn triangle stepping and bracing forward and backward stepping.

Objectives:

  • coordinate upper and lower body
  • insure that upper body doesn't "bounce" while stepping
  • chi sao comfortable while using footwork
