10. Bring your elbow as much into the center as possible,
while extending your fist forward in the centerline.

11. Continue extending your fist until your arm straightens. Your elbow
will automatically move laterally outward.

The third knuckle lines up with the radius, while the fifth knuckle
lines up with the ulna

Details:
Trajectory: fist in the center, remains in center; move the elbow to the center and extend
Relax arms, elbows, shoulders, and hands.
Push through the target, not at it.
Punch with lower three knuckles:
Pinkie Knuckle lines up with the Ulna
Middle knuckle lines up with the radius.
Fist should extend to shoulder height.
Application:
Wing Chun's basic attack, can be combined with most other hand movements.
Common mistakes:
Using a chopping motion instead of thrusting (transfer of energy along wrong line)
Thumb NOT tucked to the side. (easily injured)
