Types of Schools:
Workgroups:
Formed by at least three students of Intermediate Level, workgroups provide a formal framework for study
of Wing Chun basics: SNT, CK, and chi sao. Students of chi sao level or higher may join. With an
Assistant Instructor leading, it may accept complete beginners and teach up to Chum Kiu level.
Classes
Led by a Level II Associate Instructor, Classes form the basic organizational unit within our network.
A new student can learn all of the essential skills need to apply Wing Chun, including all three hand
forms, chi sao, and fighting drills.
Branch
Started by a full Instructor, a Branch serves as a center of learning within our network. With the
capabilities of teaching the three hand forms, chi sao, the wooden dummy form, applications, and new
instructor training.
Associations:
When two or more Instructors of any level with at least one Full instructor lives in a Region, the
Network encourages them to form an Association. The Headquarters for the Association will be the
Branch school of the senior-most Instructor.
